Sacred Images Of Life
By Bruce Finocchio

“If you looked into the eyes of a bird or wild animal, you know that they have a soul, a spirit, an aliveness that is similar to your own. Each bird or animal has an individual personality, a special spirituality and sacredness. This spirituality is what I try to capture in my nature images. I look through the window of the eyes and bring out the beauty and the spirit of each bird and animal whose picture I take. That’s what I try to capture in my photography, the special awe and wonder, and mystery of the earth–the aliveness of all living things.”

The Ten Commandments of the Native American Indians

Humankind has not woven the web of life.
We are but one thread within it.
Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves.
All things are bound together.
All things connect.
